It was almost 100 degrees at Disneyland, but it wasn’t too hot to pose with Minnie Mouse.
I took Chloe’s temperature this morning.
Our little chiropractor.
It’s a perfectly lovely Saturday morning, so far. I sit sipping my Durango Joe’s iced mocha, which I retrieved by riding my bike down the hill to the coffee shop at 7am.
Chloe had her first official routine follow up blood test in Denver last Tuesday. She will get these done on a monthly basis for the first year out of treatment.
We are home once again, this time from a week-long respite stay in Summit County.
This is the first thing the kids did when we arrived home. Chloe could finally get her chest wet, with her Broviak removed.
Playing at Brent’s Place.
We’re home. We haven’t yet been home for two full hours, and I’m a tad bit sleep deprived, and definitely dehydrated, road weary, and overwhelmed.
Calling out Bingo numbers during gametime.
We are still at Brent’s Place. This was the plan all along, to stay here for a week, as Chloe is needing some follow up outpatient care (which was totally expected).
We are SO happy.
I’m here at Brent’s place, relaxing on our camp couch on the balcony, feeling the warm breeze and listening to the hum of traffic a block away on Colfax. My heart is full and content.
Hi Everyone,
As of yesterday, Chloe’s counts are on the rise. Her white cell counts are expected to recover more slowly this time, and that is indeed what is happening.
On Saturday I was finally well enough to go visit Chloe. I wore a mask, so as not to expose her, just in case I was still contagious. We had so much fun. We cracked each other up playing Connect Four and taking selfies.
